Give him a toy with his favorite treat in it but make it difficult for him to get it out. When you come home, make sure you lavish lots of attention on him. Next, your dog could be barking because he’s not getting enough exercise. Beagles especially need to run a lot. If you don’t wear them out through physical activity, they will bark. Take your dog out for an hour run at least twice a day. Play physically exhaustive games.
